"Davar Kingdom of God" (Davar church) is a church where you can actually see and experience the presence of God at work.
Davar in Hebrew means “word”, and it is God’s word that we place in the center of our worship, since this is what gives us the power to bring about change in our lives. Come and discover what God has promised you in the Bible and unleash his power in your own life. You will see the difference it makes!
We are an international, non-denominational church. The congregation consists of people from all walks of life and backgrounds, young and old–from newborns to 90-year olds! We welcome nonbelievers as well, as we were all nonbelievers at one point. Through the teaching of our pastor, Rev. Toru Asai, you will come to know who God is, and what his plans are for you. You are welcome to join us in any of our services. Please see our service times below.

Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven (John 20:21-23).”
However, here is an important truth about receiving the Spirit. To receive the Holy Spirit and have it flow out, rather than simply drinking it, a certain condition must be met. It is expressed in the word “sent.” These disciples were chosen by Jesus three years earlier to be “sent” in the future, and they received teachings and training for that purpose. To be “sent” is not simply to remain in Jesus’ shadow and follow Him. It means that after Jesus’ ascension, just as He was sent by the Father, they were sent to lead the sheep from one pasture to another. Joshua, who was taught and trained by Moses, was sent by the Lord after Moses was gone, just as Moses was sent. He led the Israelites to cross the Jordan River and enter the promised land. Similarly, after being trained by Elijah, Elisha stayed with him until Elijah was taken up to heaven, so Elisha could inherit the Spirit that had been on Elijah and be sent as a prophet. Pay attention to the following conversation between them before Elijah’s departure:
When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied (2 Kgs 2:9). More
